It also keeps the look consistent. Hem lengths across a bridesmaid line get set to the same proportion rather than to whatever each individual tailor thought was right, and the men's trousers break the same way in every photograph.

- Can you alter a gown I bought online?
- Yes, and we do it often. Online gowns usually need more adjustment than salon dresses because manufacturer sizing varies so much. Bring it unaltered and we'll assess it and quote before any work begins.
- Can my bridesmaids be fitted at the same time?
- Yes. We regularly fit an entire wedding party — bride, bridesmaids, mothers, and the groom's and groomsmen's suits — on one coordinated timeline so everything is ready together.
