Fitting for Folsom Lake and vineyard venues
A gown hemmed for a ballroom floor doesn't work on a lawn. It sinks slightly into turf, picks up everything it passes over, and frays on gravel.
For outdoor venues we set the hem a touch shorter at the front and grade it so the silhouette still reads floor-length in photographs. Bustles get reinforced, because an evening of dancing on an uneven surface tests them in a way a ballroom doesn't.
